Appointed New Zealand's Saqleen Mushtaq as Pakistan's assistant coach for the series
The Black Cage is scheduled to visit Pakistan later this month, where both teams will play T20I and ODI series.
Tom Latham will officially headline and Ben Lister and Cole McCunchy will join the tour.
The regular Canterbury captain was also selected as part of the T20 squad on the tour of Pakistan on the back of a strong season in all forms of domestic cricket.
McCunchy's 1,140 runs across formats, with 8 wickets, is the second most by any player this season.
He was named in the ODI squad to face Sri Lanka in the recently concluded ANZ ODI series, but did not get a chance to feature in the T20 International against India earlier this year.
The new look is balanced by six experienced members of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 finalist squad.
Nine players in this team have fresh experience playing for Pakistan's Test or ODI teams in Karachi earlier this year.
Saqlain Mushtaq will also join the team as an assistant coach to gain more experience in Pakistan's conditions.
"Last season we played an interesting game against Pakistan in the white ball format both home and away. They are a tough team wherever they go.
We look forward to his support of the spin bowling team, especially as they prepare for local conditions."
McConchie's consistency this season has been surprising, Stead said.
Cole has been a standout player for Canterbury and New Zealand A for many seasons, but this summer his contribution to victory in the format has become apparent.
His bat and ball skills are invaluable, especially in the conditions he is likely to face on this tour.
Since joining the Black Caps environment, Lister, who plays ace, has impressed the coaching staff with his eagerness to learn, Steed said.
The first game in India was tough and it was great to see Ben really push himself from then on and make the most of every opportunity.
