The government considered the reference to the CJP, two judges of the Supreme Court refused to constitute a full bench to hear the case of the delay in the polls
Islamabad: Federal Home Minister Rana Sanawara said on Saturday that a reference is being considered against Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandyala and two other Supreme Court judges.
The private broadcaster said the government had not taken a final decision, but a decision could be taken after three judges ruled against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) for being sexist.
He added: “One of the decisions related to Article 63 has been rewritten by everyone who has read the Constitution.
Sana said the judges wanted to decide the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) election cases "independently".
He alleged that the head of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan was the head of the justice department and called Justice Faiz Jesus by the Tehreek-e-Insaf government to plant the seeds of this department.
PDM considers the judiciary branch to be different from the PTI branch in terms of leadership.
Responding to a question about the removal of Imran Khan, the Tehreek-e-Insaf leader said that elections are the only way to remove someone from politics in a democracy and all parties agree.
Regarding the election plan, Sana said that parliament will be dissolved after the deadline and elections will be held in 90 days. As for the words "Imran Khan stay or we stay", he said that Imran Khan has a policy that considers the opposition to be the real problem of the country.
The minister spread a false image about Imran Khan in the media that the government wanted to kill him. "We talk about politics, but he always mentions his suicide plan," added the minister.
